A Paige Hathaway workout for pregnant women

It takes one look at her social media page to conclude that Paige Hathaway’s body is her paycheck, namely her rock-solid abs.

But when the flawless fitness model’s sculpted six-pack, which has graced countless fitness magazine covers and has earned her over 4 million Instagram followers, began giving way to an expanding baby bump, well, even Hathaway became a bit overwhelmed by her body transformation.

“I’m not gonna lie, gaining 30 pounds so far has been difficult because I’m so used to having abs,” Hathaway, 32, admits. “Even my muscle definition has gone down because of gaining a lot of water weight.”

Starting a family has  been a goal for the year-old for a while, and after the initial body-change shock, Hathaway quickly learned that it’s now all about baby.

“This pregnancy has taught me so much already,” she says. “It’s taught me how to not be selfish and put my baby first. As long as she’s healthy and growing on the right track, that’s all that matters.

Hathaway’s child-first mentality, however, doesn’t mean putting a pause on her vigorous workout routine — and it doesn’t have to for most expecting mothers.

While studies have shown that many women may reduce their exercise during pregnancy, especially toward the third trimester, it’s been proven that maintaining a consistent exercise regimen greatly benefits women during this time.

Some of the benefits include an increase of energy levels, reduction of lower-back pain, leg swelling, even “morning sickness.” According to some studies, maintaining a strong core may possibly help improve stamina when it comes time for delivery.

For Hathaway (@PaigeHathaway), after getting used to her body changes, especially her baby kicking (“It really is kind of like being possessed by an alien,” Hathaway says;  “Wow, what a feeling!), it took a few easy tweaks to continue performing most of her normal (and well-documented) routine. She’s eliminated exercises involving abdominal crunching — squats, leg presses — from her workout. “Bringing my stomach to my knees is uncomfortable to me and I don’t want to put too much pressure on my midsection,” she says.

Hathaway, a Liv Body pregnancy-safe supplement spokeswoman  (“Use code PAIGE20 at checkout,” she says) also opts now for upper-body exercises from an incline to reduce lower-back stress.

Based on her experience as an expecting mother, Hathaway says there’s no reason women can’t continue doing their normal routine.

The biggest misconception among exercise during pregnancy, she says, is that you need to scale back your workout, or modify your routine with such watered-down (read: boring) exercises  that it’s no longer fun to work out. Quite the opposite, she says, as long as you’re able to find balance between listening to your body and pushing too hard. And also, listen to your doctor.

From there, continue pumping iron, training for your next marathon, or just taking long, relaxing walks — there’s no need to skip your workouts. Hathaway, who says she maintains her four- to five-day-a-week workout schedule, still says go all-in with your workout — safely, of course.

“Go on, mama, lift those weights while you’re pregnant,” Hathaway says. “Whether you ran marathons, did CrossFit or Pilates, or played sports, go on with your bad self and continue to be awesome.”

The fitness superstar put together this effective and easy-to-perform full-body workout that can be done virtually anywhere. “You’re working extra-hard to create this little tiny human inside you,” Hathaway says. “Here’s the perfect workout you can perform at home or at the gym that’ll help you save time.”

Telling her million followers that she is 'excited' to be a first-time mother alongside her boyfriend Jason Moritz Sebastian, Paige said she 'can't believe' how quickly her pregnancy is going.

'Everyday it gets more real as her kicks and other movements get stronger and stronger,' she said.

'She moves the most at night time right when I settle down in to bed. She's the length of a banana and weighs about 13 ounces ( grams).

'I still can't believe how fast she grows and develops She's growing lashes and eyebrows right now as I type this up and she can now pick up on sounds We talk to her everyday.'

In terms of what foods she is eating while pregnant, there are many that aren't agreeing with her.

'Honestly there are more foods I don't want to eat over ones that I do Including mostly all fish which is mind blowing to me because before my pregnancy I was pescatarian for almost three years,' she said on Instagram.

'Now I've been consuming plant based protein shakes a day to help with my daily protein intake. Smoothies have been my go to also while I've been preggo when I am craving something sweet.'

In terms of exercise she's keeping up with her usual rigorous schedule as much as possible.

'My workouts have changed some (I've been incorporating more full body workouts that I can do from home because some days I'm just too tired and I've modified some exercises if they pressed against my belly too much),' she said.

'But I haven't changed a whole lot because the reality is you can do everything that you did before you got pregnant.'

The mother-to-be said if you lifted weights before pregnancy, and you've checked with your doctor, you can lift weights during it as well.

Only those who are going through a high risk pregnancy might be asked to just walk, do yoga or include light weights into their routine, she said.

Her pre-pregnancy routine was very structured and kept the American personal trainer shredded year-round.

'The first thing I do when I wake up is eat breakfast. I never skip it,' she said of her old diet.

She would switch between three different breakfast options, including a black bean burrito, a plant-based protein shake or three egg whites with an English muffin and peanut butter

Lunch tended to be a protein, carbohydrate or vegetable-heavy meal like a veggie protein patty with sweet potato or white fish tacos (white fish, tortillas and mixed greens)
Dinner was similar, with gluten free pasta with red sauce, Turkey meatballs and a side salad or a healthy beef, broccoli and rice stir fry

While it's important to stay focused on the food you're ingesting, Paige puts just as much effort in the gym because she 'prefers a more muscly physique'

'If I'm craving something sweet I might go for a chia seed pudding, which has 1/3 cup of white chia seeds, 1 1/2 cup of coconut milk, two tablespoons of maple syrup or honey and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla,' she said at the time.

While it's important to stay focused on the food you're ingesting, Paige puts just as much effort in the gym because she prefers a 'more muscly physique'.

'I've always loved a defined back with great lats to make the midsection appear more tiny, chiselled shoulders and some nice muscular quads to balance everything out,' she said pre-pregnancy.

'I was never and will never be the girl in the gym only doing glute and butt day everyday because I think symmetry is sexy. I even workout chest.

What is Paige Hathaway's three step rule?

If you're trying to gain muscle Paige recommends following a three-step rule: Lift heavy weights, eat more calories than you burn and get some rest.

'My workouts consist of weight training with plyometrics or circuit training with more explosive motions to build my fast twitch muscles since I grew up as an athlete.'

If you're trying to gain muscle Paige recommends following a three-step rule: Lift heavy weights, eat more calories than you burn (known as a surplus) and get some rest.

The 'tripod kick' exercise can be used as a great butt and core workout for those times you want to target both simultaneously.

'Get on all fours with your forearms and palms on the ground and a loop resistance band around your feet; lift right foot off the ground,' Paige said.

'Extend the right leg to hip height behind you, then return to starting position. Do 20 reps. Next, extend the right leg on the ground behind you, then raise it as high as you can without arching your back.

'Lower leg to starting position. Do 20 reps. Repeat entire series on opposite side to complete one set. Do two sets.'

But while she'd love to have a steady routine in place when it comes to clocking in hours at the gym, Paige's busy travelling schedule sometimes prevents her from having a set time and place she trains.

'My top tips for travelling and staying in a routine include always packing your gym gear, researching classes in different cities, picking a hotel with a great gym, packing and planning snacks and making it fun,' she said.

'Find ways to move your body in a way that feeds your soul. For example - find movement you enjoy and that is at an intensity level that feels good to you and work from there.

'This mindful way of exercising will provide you with a different experience of movement and foster the opportunity to enjoy exercise while honouring the body you have.'

THE PREGNANCY STRUGGLE!! ? Why don’t women talk about the realllllness of pregnancy!? …Everyone just talks about how much “they love being pregnant” .. the “good stuff” but where’s the truth!? Don’t get me wrong being able to become pregnant in the first place is a blessing and this whole experience has been life changing but LETS GET REALLY REAL FOR JUST A MOMENT! The third trimester for me has been SUCH A CHALLENGE! I mean, if you’re lucky to still be able to even bend over to put on your shoes. Shaving THIS IS THE JOKE OF THE CENTURY! Can I lift my leg high enough to see all the areas I’m shaving.. (I’ll let you answer that one lol) Also, there should be an Olympic sport for getting up from a low piece of furniture while in your third trimester. The lower the piece of furniture, the less graceful you’ll be. At times I look as graceful as a turtle stuck on his back, desperately trying to roll over onto its legs, it’s a real sight to see…. Laughing at this one because everyone says “get your sleep now” .. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? ? Because they must not have encountered the endless need to pee, the weird pains from shifting positions, the kicks that come in the middle of the night or the crazy dreams that make you wake up in a panic. Oh yeah, and there’s nothing like getting winded doing menial things like walking up a flight of stairs or grabbing something that’s slightly out of reach. BUT all these aches, all the pains and all the inconveniences are worth it. The third trimester is just one hurdle before the real prize. Just need to suck it up and before you know it, there’s a sweet baby in your arms making you (almost) forget all the things you struggled with near the end.. ??? WHAT ARE SOME STRUGGLES YOU FACED IN YOUR LAST TRIMESTER! (Comment below-Be real)

She even gave fans and followers one of those nude progression that they do so well.

Hathaway also was featured on the cover of Train For Her magazine back when she was halfway thru the pregnancy journey at 20 weeks. “EXCITED to be on the cover of @trainforher magazine – 20 WEEKS PREGNANT!!!” she captioned an Instragra photo of the cover photo. “It’s little baby P’s first cover…. hehe”

Hathaway, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, boasts over 11 million followers across all her social platforms, and has headlined a series of fitness challenges and endeavors.

She is the latest in a string of Australian fitness models to gain international attention while pregnant.

I collected the sperm from my face with my fingers and lubricated my ass with it. Come into me, I asked and turned my back to my husband. He was still firm and quickly settled in behind. I felt him trying to get into my crack and whimsically wiggled my ass: Not there. Don't pretend you don't know where I want to.

And I didn't care anymore. I, like a cruiser, plowed the endless expanses of the Runet, in search of an answer to the question of how you can protect. Yourself from HIV and genital infections.

BODYBUILDER VS PREGNANCY WORKOUT

Dasha took her phone and found new video files in it. Where did they come from there. Having opened one video, Dasha froze. She saw herself. All flushed and tattered.
