Apple Repair Status: Overview

There are a handful of options for repairing your products. Correspondingly, you can track the Apple Repair Status in as many ways. Briefly, here are the available service channels:

  • Schedule a meeting with an Apple Store Genus.
  • Send the faulty device to a supported center, or
  • Go to the center in person.

However, there are prelims to all post-purchase transactions from an electronic store. In the case of Apple Inc., it requires you to possess an AppleCare package or a Limited Warranty. The Warranty covers a future-looking surcharge that guarantees you get an Apple Repair, including the Status check.

Apple My Support, How to Use It

True to its customer-friendly policy, Apple offers intuitive guides in its customer support sites. The sites explain the necessary procedures in concise language. In that way, you get to the meat of the Apple device issue fast.

We outline the requisite steps for accessing the Apple Repair Status teams online below:

  • To start using the service, liaise with an Apple Authorized Service Provider for a Repair ID or a Case (depending on the situation) using the below steps.
  • Follow the cue carefully to sign in to Apple My Support.
  • (Remember, you will have to log in with the ID acquired for Apple Repair)
  • Now, check Recent Activity for your Repair ID.

Note that the ID covers several services like repairs, support, etc. Also, you can find the Cost (or Repair ID) for Apple Service in the confirmation email that the company sends you.

Track Repair Status in MySupport

You can see the current repairs for your device displaying on the website. (Also, you can get the full details by clicking on See Details.

Preferably, open Repair Lookup with your zip code to access the number of repairs you requested previously.

Moreover, you can retrieve the index (serial number), ultimately essential to the Apple Repair service, from your product invoice.

Finally, tap Continue.

If you run into issues like unresponsive (or wholly unavailable) features on My Support, see the following section on how to bypass the problem.

Can’t Access All Features?

If you cannot request all the services, which may be disabled, follow the procedure below.

For one, the Apple Repair Lookups are unavailable on the Support app. But there is a convenient bypass for this glitch. You can either call the company customer care line or use the concise method outlined in support.apple.com.

Note: you can only use the Apple Repair Status tracker for products covered by AppleCare Plans or the Warranty. Moreover, you can rendezvous online at an Apple Genius for any queries without necessarily an in-person meeting.

Did u send it in too Apple. If so u just go too Apple repair status & put in your phones serial number or manufacturer electronic serial number & it will tell u what’s progress has been done

Sure can. It’s quick & I sent my MacBook Pro in on the 21st too Houston & I asked them (APPLE) too overnight me a box via FedEx, my FedEx lady was at my house by 8:45 the following morning & waited for me too box it up & it is already being prepared too be shipped tomorrow. Very fast.

i sent a phone for repair/replacement which was received by apple 1 week ago. The status was not updated to 'received' until Day 5, now it still says 'technicians are inspecting' for 2 days. This was supposed to be a 2 day UPS delivery to APple and a 2 day returned product to me. Given it was over a weekend, i can understand a 2 day delay, but now it appears it will be at least another 2-4 days before i receive my phone.

10 full days. I was told i should have used the 'expedited' service which is part of Apple Care + loss and damage. But no one told me about that until it was already sent generally-they wouldn't upgrade to that service even though they had the phone.

ALso, their repair status website is a joke. It didn't update that they were actually doing anything...it was 'checked' in after they had it 5 days, then i was told that was only someone receiving it from UPS but it had not actually been received by the techs. then it said the tech was reviewing the issue and didn't change for 4 days. i said 'the back glass is broken' how long can it take to diagnose!

As in 10 days in total or 10 days on the technician thing? And same here. My XR has a dead Baseband, all they have to do is literally plug it in to see “Baseband version: n/a, not to mention they already did a remote diagnostic on it to determine it was the Baseband so I don’t understand why it’s taking so long.

I sent my iPhone in on Thursday 28th June and they received it the following day. The Repair Status is a joke - it still hasnt updated so I thought they never received it. Turns out after 2 calls and chatting to one customer service person that they have received it but would repair it by June 2nd and that i would show on the website tracking service. It is now June 8 and the website still hasn't updated. I then chatted to another customer service person (for 30min) only to find out that they couldnt help me and I have to give apple a call instead. I've now been on hold for 20 minutes - with no luck yet.

This is such a joke - I think they lost my phone or something...
