- For a list of temporary enchantments, see imbue.
This is a list of enchantments by slot showing permanent non-socket enchantments that can be applied from items/augments or by players with the enchanting profession.
In Warlords of Draenor, the only types of items that may be enchanted are weapons, necklaces, cloaks, and rings. All enchantments for other slots are ineffective on items with an item level of 600 or above.
In Warlords, the design rule is that non-weapon enchants increase a secondary stat like crit or haste. Nearly all enchants can be done at a player's Enchanter's Study in that player's Garrison, with the exception of most weapon enchants. "Breath" enchants require a level 2 or 3 Enchanter's Study.
Weapon enchants require anywhere from 1-15x [Temporal Crystal] and 0-10x [Sorcerous Water], [Sorcerous Fire], [Sorcerous Air], or [Sorcerous Earth]. Breath enchants only require a single [Luminous Shard], no matter the slot, while Gift enchants require 4x [Temporal Crystal] and 3x of a sorcerous element.
Weapon enchants require the use of an enchanter, with the exception of the Mark of the Shattered Hand enchant, which can be crafted at a level 1 Enchanter's Study.
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of Blackrock (+500 armor below 50% health for 12 sec)
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of Shadowmoon (+500 spirit for 15 sec)
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of the Frostwolf (+500 multistrike for 6 sec, 2 stacks)
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of the Shattered Hand (1500 bleed damage + 4500/6 sec)
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of the Thunderlord (+500 crit for 6 sec, crits extending duration)
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of Warsong (+1000 haste, -10% every 2 sec)
- Enchant Weapon - Mark of Bleeding Hollow (+500 mastery for 12 sec)
Neck breath enchants add 40 to the selected secondary stat and gift enchants add 75 to the stat. Neck gift enchants require a level 3 Enchanter's Study if the player is not an enchanter.
- Enchant Neck - Breath of Critical Strike
- Enchant Neck - Breath of Haste
- Enchant Neck - Breath of Mastery
- Enchant Neck - Breath of Multistrike
- Enchant Neck - Breath of Versatility
- Enchant Neck - Gift of Critical Strike
- Enchant Neck - Gift of Haste
- Enchant Neck - Gift of Mastery
- Enchant Neck - Gift of Multistrike
- Enchant Neck - Gift of Versatility
Cloak breath enchants add 100 to the selected secondary stat, and gift enchants add 100 to the stat and +10% movement speed. Cloak gift enchants require a level 2 Enchanter's Study if the player is not an enchanter.
- Enchant Cloak - Breath of Critical Strike
- Enchant Cloak - Breath of Haste
- Enchant Cloak - Breath of Mastery
- Enchant Cloak - Breath of Multistrike
- Enchant Cloak - Breath of Versatility
- Enchant Cloak - Gift of Critical Strike
- Enchant Cloak - Gift of Haste
- Enchant Cloak - Gift of Mastery
- Enchant Cloak - Gift of Multistrike
- Enchant Cloak - Gift of Versatility
Ring breath enchants add 30 to the selected secondary stat, and gift enchants add 50 to the stat. Ring gift enchants require a level 3 Enchanter's Study if the player is not an enchanter.
- Enchant Ring - Breath of Critical Strike
- Enchant Ring - Breath of Haste
- Enchant Ring - Breath of Mastery
- Enchant Ring - Breath of Multistrike
- Enchant Ring - Breath of Versatility
- Enchant Ring - Gift of Critical Strike

- Enchant Ring - Gift of Mastery
- Enchant Ring - Gift of Multistrike
- Enchant Ring - Gift of Versatility
All enchantments for helms were removed from the game in Patch 5.0.4.
Shoulder enchantments are only effective for items below item level 600, as there are no Warlords-level shoulder enchant recipes.

Enchants, Gems and Consumables for Fury Warrior
This section specifically covers the optimal gems, enchants, food, and flasks to use for your character. To get a more detailed rundown of the different stats for Fury Warrior, please visit our dedicated Stats page.
Fury Warrior Stat Priority
Best Gems for Fury Warrior
You should use Leviathan's Eye of Strength in one socket, and Quick Jewel Cluster (or the cheaper Quick Jewel Doublet) in all other sockets.
Domination Shards for Fury Warrior
Information about Domination Shards can be found on our Gear page:
Fury Warrior BiS and Gear
Best Enchants for Fury Warrior
Consumables for Fury Warrior
Best Flasks and Potions for Fury
Spectral Flask of Power is the flask of choice for Strength users.
Potion of Spectral Strength is is the best general combat potion, best used used on cooldown, during Execute phases, or during periods in which the target takes increased damage. Potion of Phantom Fire is very close in single target and syngerizes slightly better with oils, though most players should use Strength and Stones instead.
Shaded Sharpening Stone or Shaded Weightstone increase attack power and are slightly stronger than Shadowcore Oil in both single and multitarget situations.
Spiritual Healing Potion or Healthstone should be used for combat healing.
Best Food for Fury
You should eat from the Feast of Gluttonous Hedonism when possible, and otherwise Haste food (Tenebrous Crown Roast Aspic or the cheaper Cinnamon Bonefish Stew).
Augment Runes for Fury
If you can afford it, you should use Veiled Augment Runes to increase your primary stat. Since there is a finite amount of these runes available, you should make sure to use them wisely and to stock up on them for when you need them.

Today we will look into BfA enchanting. It will likely start looking much more interesting this week now that M+ and raids are out.
In this post we will be focusing on the BiS enchants and how you can go about crafting and which enchants are likely to be in demand.
I sold my first enchants on Wednesday after I reset the market for Quick Navigations. Going forward I expect rank 3s to be profitable for a long time.
Enchanting is the only crafting profession that can craft enchants. These are spells that will enhance a piece of equipment with stats or other useful effects.
The crafting materials are obtained by disenchanting gear. This turns your gear into one of the three materials based on the rarity of the gear you disenchant.
The main ways to make gold with enchanting is typically to craft the various BiS enchants and post them to the auction house and the enchanting “shuffle”.
Shuffles are a process where you take a raw material craft lots of items and then you shuffle them into other materials. This is usually done with enchanting, but can also be done with the scrapper or the obliterum forge in Legion.
Enchanting gets all it’s materials from gear and the shuffles are usually profitable, even if they are time consuming.
In BfA the most promising shuffles will be the usual suspects. Leatherworking and tailoring uncommon bracers are the cheapest crafts and you can make a large number of them to disenchant.
It may be possible to profitable shuffle some item level 300 gear as well, but I doubt that veiled crystal prices will hold up.
I did some testing earlier today where I crafted and disenchanted about 227 bracers. I did not track how many rares I got, but I did some estimates.
The rare versions will give 1-2 Umbra Shards and 1-2 Gloom Dusts. It looked like I had about 10% rares in my sample. The average for the uncommon versions where about 6 Gloom dusts per bracer.
So if the crafting cost of one bracer is less than 6 times the gloom dust price you should go ahead and shuffle them into enchanting materials.
Enchanting can craft enchants for two slots in BfA: Weapons and rings. I expect both slots will be great from a profit point of view, this was certainly the case throughout Legion. There are a large number of enchants this time around, particularly for weapons, so stocking the right ones will be key.
Right now weapon enchants are generally sold below crafting cost. This is primarily due to the fact that they are the best way to level the profession, so you need to craft a substantial amount of them. Couple this with the low initial demand and we get a significant oversupply.
I expect this to change, particularly for the most popular enchants. As there are so many we will need to figure out which we need to craft. I went through all the class guides on Icy-veins to figure out which enchants are BiS, and which are not. I just took all the enchants that were mentioned in every class guide. The results are in the table below. As you can see quick navigation is by far the most widely used one, and will be the best seller by far.
Ring enchants are not selling below crafting cost at the moment. The main reason is of course the fact that they are much more expensive to craft than the weapon enchants, so no one’s crafting them for leveling.
There are 4 ring enchants, one for each secondary stat type. It’s only the pact version that will be economically significant as players are typically not to interested in non BiS enchants.
If we go by the distribution of weapon enchants it looks like haste will be the most popular one.
Overall I expect all 4 versions to sell decently, just as they did in Legion.
Sourcing your materials can be annoying as an enchanter. Especially the epic material that can only be obtained from disenchanting epics.
It is typically helpful to have enchanting on your main, particularly if you play a lot of dungeons as you will get a good amount of free crystals.
Gloom dust looks like it will be very easy to get in BfA, with an average yield of 6 from the crafted gear. Umbra shards will be comparatively harder to get, and I haven’t found any meaningful ways to mass produce them yet.
You will most likely have to buy a substantial amount of materials from the AH, particularly if you want to craft heavily.
It is typically very nice to keep a good amount of inventory in Enchanting. I would not recommend stocking up massive amounts of finished crafts right now though. We still don’t know exactly how raid launches will affect prices.
The influx of epics will help drive the Veiled Crystal prices down so we should see the crafting cost trend downwards, while demand will go up.
I will eventually go up 20 of each on the enchants I want to keep in stock.
Enchanting is market that is absolutely crazy on raid reset nights. Make sure you are reposting often as enchants will fly off the shelves.
My TSM settings are very simple for this market. We post one each and the minimum price is based on 120 % crafting to ensure a decent profit margin.
It will post 1 of each weapon enchant and one of each pact enchant. I have not added groups for any of the low level enchants yet, but I will do that shortly. They will only really be relevant when they are used for the warfront turn-ins, but considering how cheap they are to stock, we will definitely be keeping them in our inventory.
You can find my settings in my pastebin as usual.

New in Patch 8.3
The Uncanny Combatant's Sorcerous Scepter (ilvl 400 wand) is the only new recipe in this patch.
The tooltip is bugged in the profession window for some of these new recipes. They show the wrong NPC name where you can buy these. They are sold by Jinxy Blastwheel / Bragni. These new NPCs are right next to the old ones: Ozgrom Ragefang in Zuldazar / Leedan Gustaf in Boralus.
New in Patch 8.2
- 4 new ring enchants. They give 60 of a secondary stat (old was 37). (Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, Versatility)
- Force Multiplier - Permanently enchant a weapon to occasionally increase Intellect by 500 for 15 sec. While active, you restore 500 mana per second.
- Machinist's Brilliance - Permanently enchant a weapon to occasionally increase Intellect by 500 for 15 sec. While active, your offensive spells and abilities sometimes increase your Mastery, Haste, or Critical Strike by 100, stacking up to 5 times. Your highest stat is always chosen.
- Naga Hide - Permanently enchant a weapon to occasionally increase Strength or Agility by 500 for 15 sec. While active, your offensive spells and abilities sometimes increase your Mastery, Haste, or Critical Strike by 100, stacking up to 5 times. Your highest stat is always chosen.
- Oceanic Restoration - Permanently enchant a weapon to occasionally increase Strength or Agility by 500 for 15 sec. Additionally, while active, your skin is covered in thick scales, allowing you to absorb 15000 damage.
- Light-Step Hoofplates - New mount equipment provides +20% mount speed.
- Notorious Combatant's Sorcerous Scepter - ilvl 370 Wand
Learning BfA Enchanting
The new BfA Enchanting skill is named differently for the two factions, but the name is the only difference between them.
Kul Tiran Enchanting is the Alliance version and Zandalari Enchanting is the Horde version.
You can walk up to a guard in Dazar'alor or Boralus then ask where the Enchanting trainer is located. This will place a red marker on your map at the trainer's location.
Professions skills are split between expansions now, you'll have a separate skill bar for each expansion. This means you can level the new Battle for Azeroth skill tier without putting any point into any of the previous expansions tiers, you don't have to level Enchanting with older materials to be able to craft the new BfA items. The new Battle for Azeroth Enchanting has a maximum of 176 skill points. You can read more about this in my BfA Profession overview.
Every BfA recipe will require different Enchanting skill levels, so it's very different from what we had in Legion where you could make most high-level enchants with Enchanting skill 1. You will have to level your BfA Enchanting skill up if you want to make high-level enchants.
Check out my BfA Enchanting Leveling Guide 1-175, if you are looking for a more in-depth leveling guide with exact numbers and reagents needed
Most recipes still have ranks just like in Legion, but there are no profession quests for crafting profession in BfA, you will learn most rank 1 and rank 2 recipes from your trainer. They are gated by profession skill, so you have to level your Enchanting up to get every recipe.
- Rank 1: Allows you to craft the item.
- Rank 2: Reduces the materials required to craft an item.
- Rank 3: Greatly reduces the materials required to craft an item.
You can buy most Rank 3 recipes from vendors, but none of them require Exalted reputation, only Revered, so it's pretty easy to get them. (A few rank 3 recipes come from World Quests)
Tools of the Trade - Iwen's Enchanting Rod
If you level your character to level 120 and your Battle for Azeroth Enchanting to 150, then you can unlock a special questline to craft Iwen's Enchanting Rod. This rod will give you more materials when you disenchant items, and you can also spend 1 Veiled Crystal to power up an inert golem, which is a small guardian pet that will follow you around and helps you fight mobs.
The questline will take you through the process of creating your tool and give you some backstory on where the recipe comes from. Most of the quests are really straightforward and easy so I'll skip explaining each quests. Just follow your quest log and check the markers on your map.
To get started on your profession quest line, speak with your profession trainer Pin'jin the Patient (Horde) in Dazar'alor or Daniel Brineweaver (Alliance) in Boralus. You can walk up to a guard in Dazar'alor or Boralus then ask where your profession trainer is located. This will place a red marker on your map at the trainer's location.
After you complete the quest chain, you will get the Recipe: Iwen's Enchanting Rod recipe. To craft this item, you need:
There are three new wrist enchants to buff your heathstone while in Kul Tiras or Zandalar. Only the enchanter's bracers can be enchanted, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.
New materials: Gloom DustUmbra ShardVeiled Crystal
There are also 5 soulbound crafting materials:
Expulsom is obtained primarily from scrapping armors and weapons using the Scrap-o-Matic 1000 (Alliance), or the Shred-Master Mk1 (Horde). These tools work like disenchanting, you can break down any gear obtained that is from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, including dungeon/raid drops, quest rewards, world drops, and crafted gear. You can read about this in more detail if you visit my Expulsom Farming Guide.
Tidalcore is a guaranteed drop from the last boss in a Mythic dungeons and from the chest at the end of any level Mythic Plus Dungeon. They can also drop from the last boss of a heroic dungeon, however, this is not a guaranteed drop.
Breath of Bwonsamdi drops from bosses in the new raid Battle for Dazar'alor and is used for crafting epic 400 and 415 item Alchemy trinkets. (1 from each LFR wing, 1 from a Normal boss, 10 from a Heroic boss, 20 from a Mythic boss)
Sanguicell drops from raid bosses in Uldir. (1 from each LFR wing, 1 from a Normal boss, 10 from a Heroic boss, 20 from a Mythic boss)
Hydrocore used to drop in Mythic dungeons, but it no longers drops since path 8.1, and you can only get it by using Transmutes.
Utility and Miscellaneous Items
There is a couple of new weapon enchants. There are three unique ones that give increased attack speed, elemental damage buff, or a heal over time effect on the target. Six of them gives stats: Leech, Crit, Master, Haste, Armor, Versatility
(Heal over time effect) (Elemental damage) (Attack speed) (Leech) (Crit) (Armor) (Mastery) (Haste) (Versatility)
Pact and Seal are the two new type of ring enchants. Pact enchants give slightly more stat than Seal enchantments, but require more reagents and a higher skill level to learn.
