we need it. so we can argue whether tb or rtwp would better suit this game.

I don't see any grounds for an argument. The first two games in the series were RTwP. This game specifically calls itself "Baldur's Gate III" so not having RTwP combat would make it NOT a Baldur's Gate game.
Imagine what hardcore fans of the D:OS games would say if a D:OS3 were made as a RTwP game. I would predict rioting.

Just because it is named “Baldur’s Gate 3” doesn’t mean it is a direct continuation of the story of the first two. That story is over. While it may hook into some story elements of the first series, it will be a separate story (and possibly the start of its own series). That being said I do not see grounds for your argument that it HAS to be RTwP just because the first 2 were.

Seems to be a fairly even 50/50 split on RTwP vs Turn-Based. Baldur's Gate 2 is one of my top-three favorite games of all time... I've played it and its predecessor hundreds of hours in single-player and multi-player (yes, I'm one of those people who played with their spouse over a LAN connection). Coming from the Gold Box games that came before (and which I truly loved), RTwP ALWAYS felt like a down-grade meant to align with the popularity of real-time strategy games like Command and Conquer and Warcraft. And, I loved the game despite the frantic, flaky combat.
I believe WoTC picked Larian fully knowing they were getting the "Turn-Based Combat Specialists"... the ones who have made it work and work well. They know that, when it really comes down to it, D&D is a turn-based system based on initiative rolls. Make it real-time and no matter how good you are at micro-managing your six-person party (and I did get VERY good at that, I can say), it will never, EVER replace the tactical efficiency of turn-based and, therefore, will never truly feel like D&D.
That's my two cents. I know there are good arguments for the alternative.... as I've read on various forums over the past 24 hours. However, I don't abide the argument that "it's Baldur's Gate, so it must be RTwP."
And, for the record, I think the third option: hybrid turn-based/real-time is probably my least favorite choice. Pick a design and go with it, please.

Real time with pause is OK with me. Dialogs force a pause in any event. I liked the turn-based system well enough in the old Temple of Elemental Evil game, but that's the only one I have experience with. But the real need for a BGIII forum is to convey the many aspects which made Narlen Darkwalk one of the most interesting and memorable minor non-player characters in the entire series.

Well, I reject the argument that "It's D&D, so it must be TB." Tabletop D&D being TB has absolutely zero to do with the gameplay system for a video game. Larian is making a video game here, not a D&D tabletop simulator. That the tabletop version of D&D is TB (which by the way it HAS to be as ALL tabletop games are because that's the only way you can possibly handle a group of people around a table) is in no way an argument that a video game adaptation of D&D must also be TB.
Also, Larian may be "TB specialists" (though there is exactly zero evidence that had anything to do with WotC's choice), but that does not mean everyone loves their combat system, including even everyone who likes TB systems generally. I've seen many people in many forums say they love TB combat but dislike the D:OS system. And for my part, the only reason I will not touch D:OS2, after having tried and hated D:OS1, is the D:OS combat system. It is utterly horrible, even as TB systems go.

Larian already stated they are using the same engine they have been building for years. It's just the next generation of it.
So it will definitely be turn based as they have perfected that. They may be adding a RTwP hybrid or something with this newer version, but until we see gameplay videos.....

On 5e ? Considering the amount of bonus actions classes get, and how chaotic utilising them in kingmaker was ? Not to mention the existence of legendary actions ? RtwP is possible (if we scrap the legendary actions, and rebalance half of the monster manual), but I do not think it would make for a fun, or faithful experience of 5th edition specifically.

At that moment, my face was the same. The cock burst into her lustful ass until the very end. I rested my hot groin on her cold thighs. Exhaling as much as possible, she still spoke.

There are also several observers present. I felt like a porn star. Someone began to lick my penis gently, the edge of the head, then almost from the base, as far as the girl who did it, could reach, and up the trunk.

Jackdaw noticed this too, tried to break the spell, but without much success. Yes, and I got excited, I still began to play along with Sergei. In general, Galya felts from drunk, or from frustration passed out. Svetka and Kostya quickly found a common language and she was already sitting on his lap, kissing and hugging.
She catches the penis of a gaping lover at a gallop and sitting on her husband's penis, protrudes. Her ass, a wet and slippery "heartthrob" flies into her anus and also fucks with all her might. Julia quickly assessed the situation and with bleeding holes approached Ilya and began to shamelessly suck with him, while his penis perfectly rolled the sweet hole of his mistress Inna, causing the rider to scream and moan from the double pull of two males.
