Beggin' for relief for shoes
Because the rock an concrete
Hoo-well-well, now they giving my feet the blues

Workin' on the project
With holes all in my clothes
Workin' on the project
With holes all in my clothes
Tryin' to make me a dime
To keep the rent man from puttin me outdo's

I am workin' on the project
Tryin' to make both ends meet
I am workin' on the project
Tryin' to make ends meet
But the payday is so long
Woo-well-well, until the grocery man won't let me eat

Workin' on the project
My gal spending all my dough
Workin' on the project
My gal spending all my dough
Now I have waked up on her
Ooh-well-well, and I won't be that weak no mo'

Workin' on the project
With payday three or four weeks away
Workin' on the project
With payday three or four weeks away
Now, how can you make they meet
Ooo-well-well-well, when you can't get no pay?

Que dios te bendiga

By Joshua Yudkin

“Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, all the beautiful sounds of the world in a single word.” Inspired by Shakespeare, the epic rivalry between the Jets and Sharks is a theatrical masterpiece describing the tension between the Puerto Rican Sharks that are taunted by the White Jets in America’s most notorious concrete jungle, New York City.  I grew up with an appreciation of the textual and musician brilliance that described our nation’s alleged past. From Al Jolson’s The Jazz Singer to Arthur Laurents’ West Side Story, the American ethos and episteme were fascinated by and celebrated the ripe newness of ethnic encounters during the first half of the twentieth century.

What I didn’t realize was the way our romanticized past is still the reality for many today in the twenty-first century. Neither West Side Story, nor The Iron Curtain removed the East versus West divide in my home city. But it required me leaving and returning home to see this reality. Now that I left the garden, I can never go back.  I was left with the question of identifying my role in this newly discovered and established dynamic. Aware of the reality, my internal compass told me we have a moral imperative to help one another: I started volunteering to bridge the East and the West, literally.  Through shared language access and proficiency, tu y yo, nosotros, juntos, can superar the divide y mejorar nuestra ciudad.

Can you imagine living in a city for 20 years and having no ability to communicate in the lingua franca?  Can you imagine being trapped and celebrating the past because you had no access to the future? Can you imagine feeling powerless and accepting that your best option would be que dios te bendiga?

No matter how low our eternal flame may burn, it takes but a small action to rekindle the fire. The bond and effect are reciprocal. By teaching English to exclusively Spanish-speaking populations, I could empower people to empower themselves. But by cultivating a relationship with someone who is different than yourself, you also grow – you learn about their history and their experience. By helping another, you create more room inside of yourself to celebrate a shared experience and community.

Through global crises and challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, we can realize the meaning of community and the resilience of the human spirit. In this instance, just because a campus closes, doesn’t mean community ends. Rather, teachers and parents continue to learn through Zoom and support each other through WhatsApp groups. When schools close, parents, together, work to educate their children at home.  Physical social distancing doesn’t mean emotional social distancing, as classmates check in on each other regularly. From gender reveals to birthdays, aquí estamos juntos.  From employing English to share recipes, to practicing filling out our school medical forms, aquí estamos juntos. Rather, when physical social distancing is required, there is no East vs. West divide, literally. This digital COVID-19 era catalyzes and cultivates new communities that are not limited by the geographical ghettos of the past.

In his iconic work, La Ciudad Letrada, Ángel Rama explains how education was the tool that redefined social order in Latin America.  Education continues to be the tool for change and must not stop. I want to express gratitude to the commitment of my fellow teachers and learners, like Maria. Let’s continue to capitalize on this opportunity and erect the Universópolis that José Vasconcelos postulated in his work La raza cósmica. Let’s superar contemporary social constructions and geographic barriers. Rather than resorting to the old norms, let’s use this opportunity in a post-COVID-19 world to build a new social order without the East vs. West divide. Let’s intentionally come together to support one another and say que dios te bendiga from a place of love and hope rather than powerless despair.

Demanding what my mouth was now busy with. Unable to endure, I slipped my fingers between my thighs and grabbed the wet folds. Coupled with the sensation of a hard cock moving in my mouth, it was so sweet. Literally a couple of meters from our balcony, someone passed, talking loudly. Surely, they could see the face of my husband, with glassy eyes, hoarsely sucking in air.

Bendiga dios te

There was a hole in the fist there. I drove my finger wet from juices into her anus. Her ass was not fucking yet. From the abrupt entrance, she was already thrown up, she arched her back and hissed like a kettle on the stove. Damn, how I.

La Bendición - Latinoamérica (The Blessing) En Español

The lower parts of the lips, along with their curly vegetation, were dragged by a member inside and, if Nikolai began to press further, the. Clitoris would follow. Simply put, my wife was pulled on her pubic hair, she got hurt and scared, and as a result, the lubricant stopped coming out.

Now discussing:

The idea is certainly great. Only could Marisa think that the restless Magda would drag her into the impenetrable depths of the dense forest. The dacha village, on the edge of which Magda's house huddled, was left. Far behind, and two stubborn girls purposefully made their way through the bushes. It seemed to Marisa that they had been walking for several hours already, her legs ached for unaccustomedness, her shoulders rubbed with straps were pulled by a.
