HMS BOUNTY - Armed Transport
The name of the Bounty, frigate of the British Navy, is indissolubly tied to its captains Bligh and to vicissitudes which caused the crew to mutiny. Christian Fletcher, the boatswain, took command of the ship and forced Bligh to embark on a life-boat with 18 still faithful men.
After a dangerous navigation for more than miles, Bligh reached the isle of Timor and afterwards England. The Bounty went to Pitcairn Isle where Fletcher and the remaining men settled. Only 20 years later the group landed in Tahiti was captured and tried by the English Court-martial. Only three seamen where condemned, while the others were acquitted.

Bounty Admiralty Model
Designed from the construction plans, but supplied in assembly kits, this admiralty style model of the Bounty allows you to understand the structure of the actual ship and to build a model that faithfully replicates the ancient techniques of building ship models.
Admiralty style lifeboat models
The two lifeboats of the Bounty are also built in admiralty style, starting with the frames as well.
The construction site
The construction site schematically reproduces the original construction technique in the shipyard. This has a technical and structural function: on the base there are the necessary indications for the positioning of the keel and of the frames that will make up the frame of the hull.
Visible ship structure
Composed of alternating frames, the building of the model is facilitated by the paper templates supplied with the assembly guides.
The masts of the model are cut off, admiralty-style: from the main deck, partially planked, you can admire the mast feet wedged into the keel on the bottom of the hull.
High-quality materials and finish
The frame of the hull, on port and starboard sides, faithfully replicates the original construction plans. The admiralty model allows you to admire the internal structure of the vessel. The parts of the hull are made of solid wood and their thickness is perfectly to scale.
The ship’s decorations
The decorations of the vessel are faithfully engraved in solid wood, replicating the effect of the actual wood carving by master engravers.
Cannons and culverins
The weaponry of the Bounty is faithfully replicated in every detail. It is made of metal and its colouring can be customised.
The ship’s wheel
Every detail of the ship's wheel is faithfully reproduced; the wheel is composed of solid wood, or die-cast or photo-engraved metal.
